From the Principal

Dear St. Edward Families,

We hope you and your loved ones are well. Thank you for your continued partnership and support — we are grateful for the care and encouragement you share with our school community every day.

Marathon Goal Achieved! Our students raised nearly $40,000 for St. Edward School — an incredible accomplishment. Because of this success, students will participate in all three announced prizes. I visited with the 8th grade yesterday to share what each prize will look like; please watch for the parent letter and check the school calendar for more details. We are so proud of our students and grateful for your support in making this possible.

Welcome, Grandma Jackie Laleman! We warmly welcome Grandma Jackie as a volunteer grandparent through Lutheran Social Services. She will primarily assist in the 1st and 2nd grade classroom. Thank you, Grandma Jackie!

Action items (quick list)

  • Notify the office if your daughter will attend Schoenstatt on Oct 26.
  • Note dismissal times: noon (tomorrow) and 1:00 PM (Oct 29).
  • Sign up for Parent–Teacher Conferences if you haven’t already.

May God Bless,

Mrs. Garvey

Virtue of the Month: Reverence Virtue of the Month: Reverence

Understanding that God is holy, every person is created by God and God's creation deserves our care.

Week 3 – Reverence for Others
How can the way you speak to and treat another person show that you recognize that he or she was created by God?

Scripture: “God created mankind in his image.” — Genesis 1:27

Quote of the Week: The Holy Eucharist is our most powerful prayer." - Fr. John Hardon, S.J.

Mr. Cardinal is looking for additional support in the after school program. Our student numbers are raising and we need an additional set of eyes, ears and hands, especially on Wednesday afternoons. If you or someone you know would be interested in helping, please reach out to the school office.
