The Positivity Project (P2) is an organization whose mission is to empower students to build positive relationships and become their best selves Positive psychology’s 24 character strengths serve as its foundation. Ranging from bravery and perseverance to integrity and gratitude, the character strengths are classified and described in the 800-page book Character Strengths and Virtues. These strengths aren’t about ignoring the negative. Instead, they help us overcome life’s inevitable adversities.
Students who complete the Tiger Challenge (Pre K-2nd Grade = Reflection Journal in class, 3rd-6th Grade = Google Classroom activity with code y7tcpal) have a chance to be the Tiger of the Week. School starts at 7:55 for 1st - 6th Grade students. If your child arrives after 7:55, it's important that they report directly to the office for a late pass. If the teacher has marked your child absent, the late pass lets the office know to change the absence to a tardy.
School starts for Morning Kindergarten at 7:35 and Afternoon Kindergarten at 11:10, and on Wednesdays at 10:25. If you arrive late, please report to the office for a late pass.
