Come support our boys basketball teams this Saturday! 8th grade will be playing at home at Aurora Quest at 8 AM against Columbia, so let's pack the gym and cheer them on, while 7th grade will be traveling to Columbia for an 8 AM game.
Girls basketball starts on February 9th. Please make sure your kids are registered in Arbiter and CHSAA physical forms have been uploaded. This information can be found on our school website.
Please take a moment to review the district letter about spectator sportsmanship. As we continue our athletic season, it's important that all families understand the expectations for creating a positive and supportive environment at our games. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that our events remain respectful and enjoyable for everyone—players, coaches, officials, and spectators alike. Thank you for helping us model good sportsmanship for our student-athletes!

We will choose an area of interest based on the students in the club to create positive and compassionate change in our community!

Notes from the Nurse...
- Flu rates have continued to rise with additional reports of "super flu". Hospitals in numerous areas including Connecicut, Pennsylvania, and University of New Mexico are at capacity due to flu. Please consider obtaining the influenza vaccine for all members of your family.
- This is a reminder to parents of our younger students to please have a clean change of clothes in their backpack every day. We stock changes of shirts, underwear, socks, gloves, and hats but not pants.
- Dry skin season is almost year round in Colorado but so much worse in the winter. Some suggestions include applying a thick cream moisturizer after bathing while the skin is still damp. This will help hold in moisture. Increase fluid consumption. Use a humidifier in bedrooms--this can also help with nosebleeds. Be sure to change the water daily. Lips--please send a "chapstick" with your child. A petroleum jelly (Vaseline) is perfect.
Please let me know how I can help your child.
