Stevenson's Administration Team Message for the Week
Happy Friday Wildcat Families,
Thank you for choosing Stevenson as your child's school. We are grateful for the opportunity to work in one of the greatest communities in Northside. We have amazing students and amazing families.
Our school attendance is pretty good to start the school year. Remember that attendance is important and we need students at school as much as possible. If you have not already done so, please take a look at the district calendar as students have additional minibreaks this school year. There are Fridays and Mondays students will have off for planned doctors appointments, family minivacations, etc.. Please take advantage of these times as to maximize student's time in the classroom. If your student has to be absent, please provide a note. Remember if a student is absent for a doctor's appointment and attends school for part of the school day, the absence does not count against them.
Next Friday is eligibility for extracurricular activities. Please take this time to check HAC to see our student's progress in their classes. Tutoring is available every morning to get help with their work. If a teacher does not have tutoring, we have homework center available where students can receive help.
We got our student ID badges in and have handed them out. Please talk to your student about wearing their ID badge. This is a district requirement. If a student loses and ID badge, a replacement can be purchased for $5.00. Picture retakes were done today and any student who did not previously get an ID because we didn't take their picture will have an ID made so they can have one.
I wanted to talk about dismissal. I have noticed a lot more students being picked up at CVS or Dutch Bros. after school. I know that parents do not want to wait in the parking lot in the line, but this year the traffic has been clearing out by around 4:10 p.m.. I wanted to let you know if you pick your child up after 4:10 p.m. the school parking lot is mostly cleared out for you to do so. I don't want them getting in trouble because they are waiting for you across the street when they could be waiting in the front of the school. This is something to consider as your pick up your student in the afternoon.
Please take the opportunity today to consider joining PTA. PTA helps our campus by providing opportunities to our students to have dances, rewards, and faculty support. Our PTA goal is to have at least 500 members this year. You can help us reach this goal. You and your student(s) can join. I signed up and hope you will also.

Stevenson Military Pride Club!
Hello Military Connected Families,
Our Stevenson MS Military Pride Club is having our first meeting next month in September. We must have signed permission slips for all members to join us for our lunch time club. Please sign and return the attached permission slip via email or send a signed copy to school with your child.

Club meeting Date/Time: Sept. 16th, Oct. 14th, Nov. 4th, Dec. 9th, Jan. 13th, Feb. 18th, March 18th, April 15th (Purple UP Day), May 13th Club meeting Location: Room 215 during student’s lunch period Must turn in the permission slip to join.

UHS & NISD-Teaming up for our annual city-wide drive-thru Flue Drives!
📣 WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE...
NISD will host clinics on Saturday, October 3rd at Gus Stadium and Saturday, October 10th at Farris Athletic Complex. Both are scheduled from 8 am-12 Noon.

Shots are completely FREE.

Returning Student Registration
📝 Action Required: Complete Your Child’s Enrollment Update in HAC
It’s time to update your child’s enrollment for the upcoming school year! All families must complete this process through the NISD Home Access Center (HAC).👉 https://hac.nisd.net
Getting Started is Easy:
- Log in using your PARENT email address (the one that receives school messages) and your HAC password
- Click the Registration tab
- Select Update Enrollment and click Start
You’ll be asked to:
- Verify your account (first-time login only)
- Confirm whether your child will return to NISD next year
- Review and update your child’s information
✔️ Be sure to click Submit to complete the process!
Multiple Students?
Use the “Change Student” option to complete enrollment for each child.
Need Help?
If you have trouble logging in or don’t see your child listed, please contact the front office and ask for the Attendance Secretary—we’re happy to help!

🚌 Bus Transportation Registration – Don’t Miss This Step!
To secure bus transportation for the 2026–2027 school year, eligible families must register their students in advance.
- Use the Buses & Boundaries System to check if your address qualifies
- New to NISD? Register for transportation during New Student Registration (begins January 20, 2026)
- Currently Enrolled Students: Register during Returning Student Registration (begins March 16, 2026)
- ✅ Deadline: June 30, 2026 (to guarantee service for the first day of school)
Important Notes:
- Transportation for eligible special education students will be arranged through the campus during the ARD meeting
- Magnet students needing transportation must also register
