๐Ÿ‚ A Message from the Main Street School Admin Team ๐Ÿ‚ ๐Ÿ‚ A Message from the Main Street School Admin Team ๐Ÿ‚

Dear Main Street Community,

As we welcome November, we want to take a moment to thank our Main Street families for your continued support. This month is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the growth, resilience, and dedication of our students and staff. We are so proud of the progress our students are making every day, both academically and socially.

We are also grateful for the strong partnership we share with our families. Your involvement, encouragement, and collaboration help create a positive, caring, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. Together, we continue to make Main Street a place where students feel supported, challenged, and celebrated.

As the season of gratitude approaches, we want to acknowledge each of you for being such an important part of our school community. Thank you for helping us make this a school year full of learning, growth, and connection.

Warmly,

Gina, Alyse, & Beth

Reminders From The Health Office Reminders From The Health Office

Tips to Stay Healthy

Here are a few reminders to help your student stay healthy:

  • Remind or help your student to wash their hands as often as possible
  • Try to get plenty of rest
  • Try to get some outside time which is great for physical and mental health
  • Try to consume as many fruits and vegetables as possible

How Sick Is Too Sick?

There are four main reasons for children and adults to stay home:

  1. The child or staff member could infect others with a contagious illness, either because of symptoms, a diagnosis, or recent exposure to a contagious illness.
  2. The child or staff member does not feel well enough to take part in usual activities. For example, a child is overly tired, fussy, or will not stop crying.
  3. A child needs more care than teachers and staff can give while still caring for the other children.
  4. The child or staff member has symptoms or an illness on this list, and staying home is required.
