Kohlberg Elementary Newletter
Week of 5-12--25
As we enter the final weeks of the school year, I want to thank you for your continued support and partnership. Your kindness and generosity during Teacher Appreciation Week meant so much to our staff. It was truly heartwarming to see how much you value and celebrate the incredible work our teachers do each day.
This week, our students will begin participating in end-of-year NWEA MAP testing. This important assessment helps us measure student growth and progress over the school year in reading and math. The data we gather not only informs instruction but also helps us better understand each child’s unique learning needs as we plan for the year ahead.
As we approach the final weeks of school, consistent attendance remains critical. We want to ensure your child has the opportunity to demonstrate all they’ve learned and finish the year strong.
Lastly, to all the incredible moms and mother figures in our community: Happy Mother’s Day! We hope you feel celebrated and appreciated for all the love and support you give every day.

EPISD FAMILY SURVEY
El Paso ISD has partnered with Panorama Education, a national leader in fostering school and community partnerships. According to Panorama's extensive research, when schools successfully engage families, students earn higher grades, score higher on tests, and develop better social skills. Panorama safeguards your privacy, keeping your responses confidential. The survey shouldn’t take more than a few minutes to complete, and will be a valuable source of information for us as we work to make our schools and district as good as they can be.
Dates: The survey will be open May 12-23, 2025.
Survey Link: You can take the survey by clicking here using a computer, tablet, or smartphone by visiting the link: Panorama Family Survey. We thank you in advance for your thoughtful responses. If you have any questions about the survey administration, please don’t hesitate to contact us at strategyevaluation@episd.org.
