Alligator Aquatics Families – Make Your Voice Heard in D214!

If you’re a current or future D214 family, we need your input!

District 214 is considering building new swimming pools at Hersey, Rolling Meadows, and Wheeling High Schools, and they’re seeking feedback from the community — especially from families like yours who understand the importance of aquatics.

As part of Alligator Aquatics, you know how essential pool access is for training, development, and safety. More pools would directly benefit our swimmers through better scheduling, improved facilities, and more opportunities to grow in the sport they love.

These new pools would also benefit all students across the district — offering more access to physical education, swim instruction, lifeguard training, and safe recreational opportunities.

Please take a few minutes to complete the district survey (deadline is November 3rd) and consider attending a virtual or in-person engagement session. Your voice matters!

Engagement Sessions:

Virtual #1 – October 27 at 6:30 PM Register by Clicking Here

Virtual #2 – November 3 at 12:00 PM Register by Clicking Here

In-Person – November 3 at 6:30 PM at Rolling Meadows High School Theater, 2901 W. Central Rd, Rolling Meadows - Register by Clicking Here

Help us advocate for the future of aquatics in D214 — for our team and our schools!

Thank you to all team parents for all you do to get your kids to practice, help support us at meets and work behind the scenes to continue to make this a great season for our athletes!

Thank you to the Hager family for hosting our annual parent meeting! You provide so much support to our team, we really appreciate you hosting this event, your generous donations and all of the behind the scenes work you do. Please know it has not gone unnoticed!

Thank you to Megan Reband for her idea and the set up and execution of our Chipotle Dine ‘N Share!! We appreciated a night off of cooking dinner and a creative and close-by way to give back to the team!

Thank you to the Bakre family for planning a fun filled first Blaze social event! Although the weather didn’t hold out for the first try, we appreciated your flexibility and execution on round two. Thank you for providing opportunities for our athletes to get together outside of the pool!

Thank you to Alice Raflores for volunteering as our Bionic social lead and for planning the first few events for our bionic group. The kids are going to have so much fun this season in and out of the pool!

Thank you to Jen Scoggins for planning and organizing a fun winter surprise event for our swimmers! We loved this creative idea for our swimmers to have a little extra fun outside of the pool! We’re also appreciative of the Scoggins family for helping to spread the word about our program and supporting new families. Thank you for everything you’re doing to make Alligators a great team!

May your costumes be awesome, your candy buckets be full, and your swim caps stay un-haunted! Remember: even spooky gators keep their kicks strong and their fangs—uh, teeth—out of the lane ropes. Have a ghoulishly good time, chomp responsibly, and don’t let any ghosts beat you off the blocks!
