There are several important deadlines coming up for the 2025 Yearbook! Purchase a yearbook by 1/24 to save $10, purchase by 1/24 if you want your yearbook personalized (your name on it), and (for senior parents mainly or anyone with senior friends) tribute ads are due by 1/31!
We also need pictures! If your parents went to HHS we need pictures of them back in high school (lots of fun throwback pictures in the 2025 yearbook!) and we need pictures of anything you'd like to see in the yearbook plus cars, classes (fun experiments and projects!), siblings, activities and clubs, sports, the musical, etc.

Max from Germany:
My name is Max and I have been living in southern Germany for my whole life. I was born in Munich on the 19th of May 2008 which now makes me 16 years old. I live in a house with my mom, dad and normally with my 18 year old sister Paula who is currently studying in the US.
Our house is located in a small town 20 minutes away from Munich. We have a yard which not only us humans enjoy but also our two cats. Right now I'm attending the 11th grade at a local high school. My favorite subjects at school are english, history and sports. What I love doing is sports and meeting friends. My favorite sport is tennis which I have been playing for twelve years now. I do play in team tournaments and solo tournaments. I’m also in a ski club. I generally love to be around and going swimming with my friends in a nearby lake in the summer. I also used to play the piano for a couple of years but unfortunately I had to give it up because it was no longer possible because of all my tennis training (I play four times a week).
Rodney from Brazil:
I decided to study in the United States because I think it’s a really good experience for anyone, you can make new friends, improve other languages, have contact with other cultures and families, live a different life than you have in your country, discover more about the universities in USA and become more mature by living far from home. I know I will live many other things in my American life, but at this time I think these are the main points that influenced me to make this choice. At the end, I think this program will be really good and important to me and my life, so I hope to conclude all my objectives, to live all the experiences I can in USA, to learn how to solve my own problems without my parents and I also hope to make the most of this period, because I know I’m a lucky guy to have this opportunity and this will be the best experience of my life.

Please inform Mr. Frey either via email or in A209 by January 8th if you wish to compete! He can also help with poem selection if you need some help.
