HES Shark Scoop

Dear HES Caregivers,
There truly aren’t words big enough to express how grateful we are for your help with Field Day this year! Thanks to you, Coach D was able to offer an amazing variety of activities that kept every Shark moving, playing, and enjoying the day with friends. Your time, energy, and encouragement meant the world, not only to us, but to every child. You showed what it means to be part of something bigger than yourself, and that’s a powerful lesson for your children to witness.
A special thank you as well to the caregivers of our fourth grade musicians. Their concert this week was a beautiful celebration of their growth and hard work. Your ongoing support has been key to their success. Ms. Riley and Mr. Pells are deeply appreciative of your partnership this year.
As we enter our final days together, it’s a bittersweet time. There’s still much to do to wrap up the year, and we’re savoring every last moment with your incredible children.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Once again, thank you for being such an essential part of our school community.
With gratitude,
Christie

Call the Attendance Line If Your Shark Is Absent
Per the handbook, if your child is unable to attend school, please enter the absence in PickUp Patrol and/or call our designated attendance line, 617-848-0115, as early as possible. Soon after arrival, our office staff begins to call the caregivers of absent students if we haven't already heard from them. This is important, as we want to ensure that all students are safe. Your phone message with the reason for the absence is all we need. While an email to the teacher is helpful, it sometimes doesn't make its way to the office staff. Thank you for your help!
