Updates from our PTO...

Hello from the China Schools PTO!

It's time for the China Schools PTO Read-A-Thon!

Our school Read-A-Thon begins on Monday March 25, 2024 and is sure to be a fun and exciting event.

This fundraiser is really important to ensuring field trips and enrichment opportunities can exist for all students. We appreciate you enrolling your students, tracking minutes read, and sharing the fundraiser link on social media with friends and family to make sure this is another successful year!

We are encouraging everyone to activate their student's Read-A-Thon account as soon as possible. It should take less than 5 minutes of your time. Use this link below to activate your student's Reader account: https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/3538303638/1 Then - make sure to track the minutes spent reading!

CPS: the classroom with the most minutes read for this event will be helping to dress Mr. Moody, Mrs. Ridgeway, and their homeroom teacher for a TOILET PAPER fashion show, complete with SILLY STRING ACCESSORIES!

CMS: the advisory with the most minutes read for this event will get a prize of their advisor’s choice- we can’t wait to see what fun chaos this could be. Maybe pie in the face? Getting slimed? Who knows! But we are pumped to see those reading minutes roll in and what happens next!!

Thank you so much for your participation and support. Together, we can make this Read-A-Thon an amazing experience for our young readers! Thank you!

Planning ahead:

Next meeting: Thursday April 4th at 6pm on Google Meet - if you are interested in or would consider a board position, we encourage you to join us and see what we are all about in April! Our board positions are open and we will vote during our May meeting. Come check it out!
