A Trip to France and Iceland with Molly Larrabee A Trip to France and Iceland with Molly Larrabee

As Reported by the Kindergarten

Molly Larrabee went to France and Iceland in the summer. When she was on the plane, she said she could see land and a big river [in Paris]. She went up the Eiffel Tower and brought back a little statue of it. She said you could go all the way to the top of the Eiffel Tower, but she didn’t. The Eiffel Tower lights up at night and there’s an elevator and restaurant in it. She showed us a picture of Notre Dame when it was on fire and what it looks like now. She showed us a picture of the bones of people who died a long time ago in the [underground] tunnel of bones [the Catacombs].

Molly said it was cold in Iceland. She hiked and rode horses there. Molly saw a geyser in Iceland. You can drink the water that’s outside unless it’s the water that has sulfur in it. She said the Icelandic language is hard to speak.

Molly gave us pictures of Iceland and France to color. We thanked Molly for coming.
