Welcome To Week 20!

Dear Brahma Family,

Thank you to everyone who picks up students at 3:30 p.m. for following our new traffic pattern during after school pick-up.

On January 6, the challenge for this year’s FIRST Robotics Competition was announced. Team Sprocket, our FIRST Robotics team, immediately started work on their robot for the 2024 competition. If you would like to see the challenge they were given, watch the animated explanation linked here. Our Robotics team is advised by our Instructional Dean, Mr. Aguilar. They will work nearly every day after school for the next couple months to design, manufacture, and program their robot. Their first competition will be the weekend of March 1-2 at the Ventura FRC Regional. During the competition, Team Sprocket will compete in an alliance of three robots against an opposing three-robot alliance to score points as explained in the game animation linked above. This program allows students to apply the knowledge they learn in the STEM courses of our Brahma Tech Academy.

DBHS Students and Families,

Please join us for Open House 2024!

This year, the DBHS Open House will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024. The evening will begin at 6:30pm in our Amphitheater (open area adjacent to the school gym on the west side of campus). In our amphitheater, you will meet USB student leaders (and our school mascots too), enjoy demonstrations from a few of our student groups, partake in a meal from food vendors, and speak to our Administration Team. It will be a great start to the evening!

Then at 7pm, visit our classrooms, speak to teachers and staff, and watch our students in action!

We are looking forward to welcoming you to campus on Thursday, January 25th at 6:30pm. We hope to see you!

The DBHS Dance Company is excited to host their Annual Youth Dance Camp!! We invite children aged 5-13 (K-8th grade) to come dance and learn from Dance Company members.

Campers will work with Dance Company members on Saturday January 20th from 9am-1pm and PERFORM at our Competition Kick Off Event on Sunday January 21st at 3pm!
