All students in grades 9-11 will be photographed for the yearbook on December 8th & 9th ( schedule below). Students are able to purchase photo packages if they wish. Please see order form and prices below. Paper copies are available in the main office. If you wish to provide credit card payments over the phone, please call the studio at least 3 days prior to photos.215-740-3863 or contact absvisuals@gmail.com. • Upcoming Dual Enrollment Deadlines: Multiple dual enrollment deadlines are coming up early next week! Arcadia (both through SDP and through Heights) and CCP. Please reference the attached dual enrollment one pager to see what opportunities are still available for students.
• HBCU College Prep Initiative, "The Final Approach" Virtual Session: Join the HBCU College Prep Initiative in their final fall session on Wednesday, 12/10 at 7:00 to prepare for the journey after being accepted to an HBCU. This session will focus on the transition into college life, from enrollment to campus culture to athletics. Students can register HERE. Flyer is attached.
• "Xello Parent: Virtual Session: Please encourage families to join the OPSR for an informational session on Xello Parent on Wednesday, 12/10 at 10:00. During this session, families will learn how Xello can support their student's college and career goals. Families can register HERE. Flyer is attached.
• "Understanding the Offer and Balances" PHEAA Webinar: Join PHEAA on Thursday, 12/18 at 6:30 to dive into offer letters, financing plans, balances, and navigating the types of aid a student sees in their financial aid package. Students and families can register HERE.

Juniors and seniors who are proficient in English and another language should apply for the Seal of Bilitercy. Application is open now until 12/16. Palumbo will set up language proficiency tests for all the applicants between January and March. See the attached flyer to join the Seal of Biliteracy Google classroom. If your student is new to Palumbo, and has a 504 Plan please reach out to their counselor to ensure that we have a copy of the plan. This is especially important for students coming from non-school district schools. The 504 plans do not automatically transfer to us from outside of the district.

You may use this electronic form to submit an excuse for your child's absence from school within three days of the absence. A doctors note must be provided after three consecutive days of absence. After 9 parental excuses, a doctors note will be required. Be sure to complete each section below to ensure the excuse is accepted. Written notes are also accepted in the main office. All request are subject to administrative approval.
