Model of Mercy
"The people of Tours demanded that he become their bishop. Martin was drawn to that city by a ruse—the need of a sick person—and was brought to the church, where he reluctantly allowed himself to be consecrated bishop. Some of the consecrating bishops thought his rumpled appearance and unkempt hair indicated that he was not dignified enough for the office."
Grow in Faith
Giving Tree
Consider supporting our Giving Tree. Leaves will be available starting this weekend. Here are the organizations that will benefit:
All Saints Community Services (ASCS) serves the local community with food, rent, utility, and transportation assistance. With a donation of a partial rent or utility payment, you can support a local family in need. Donations should be left unwrapped and dropped off at the parish or placed in the collection by Friday, December 13.
Catholic Community Services (CCS) International Foster Care helps children and teens in our community find a safe and caring home with a loving caregiver in which to grow and thrive. We’ll also be collecting coats for Nativity House. Please drop off unwrapped gifts at the parish by Friday, December 13.
Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is dedicated to putting faith into action to help the world’s poorest create lasting change. Make a donation online through the website provided.
Meeker Elementary School is collecting gift cards to help their school families purchase gifts. Consider purchasing gift cards through our All Saints School Office to support the SCRIP program. Please drop off at the parish by December 13.

Global Solidarity
Welcoming the Stranger
According to the USCCB, "The Catholic Church in the United States is an immigrant Church with a long history of embracing diverse newcomers and providing assistance and pastoral care to immigrants, migrants, refugees, and people on the move. Our Church has responded to Christ’s call for us to “welcome the stranger among us,” for in this encounter with the immigrant, the migrant, and the refugee in our midst, we encounter Christ." Here are just a few organizations in our area that provide assistance to immigrants, migrants, and refugees.
