Dear families,

Today we held a pep rally for our 3-8th grade students to encourage them, show them that we love them, and most importantly, that we believe in them and their teachers. This time of year can be stressful, both at school and home for many of our students with the end of year tiredness. We are so proud of out students and their efforts and are ready to push past STAAR into the fun of the end of the year. Please encourage your child, whether they take STAAR or are getting foundational skills for later - the power of positive language in our children's lives is monumental!

We hope that you have registered for our Grownup and Donuts event, but if not, the link is below.

In May, we will celebrate our teachers with Teacher Appreciation Week. We would love to have your support of our teachers, we think we have the best. You can also click on that link below.

Counselor Corner

During the 6th 6-Weeks, counselor lessons will focus on the concept of kindness. This time of year can be hard-- schedules are busy, bedtimes get pushed back, etc. Kids are tired & tried creates grumpy moods. We will take time during lessons to refocus and remember our manners & respect. When we take time to consider how we're treating others we often are rewarded with pleasant interactions. In a world where you can be anything, be kind!
