Newsletter Feature: Stress Management Workshop & Pink Out Day

Dear Families and Students,

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the families who participated in our Stress Management Workshop, presented by Elevate Education. Families gained valuable tools and practical strategies for managing stress, building resilience, and supporting emotional well-being at home. A special thank you to our Parent Coordinator, Ms. Tanisha Allen, for organizing and facilitating this impactful learning opportunity.

We also celebrated a successful and meaningful Pink Out Day in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Students and staff proudly wore pink and shared heartfelt messages of hope, strength, and compassion. The day served as a powerful reminder of the importance of supporting those facing challenges and demonstrating care for others in our community.

Pink Out Day provided a wonderful opportunity to reinforce our Langston Virtue of the Month: Courage. Throughout the day, students learned that courage is not only about being brave in difficult situations, but also about showing empathy, kindness, and compassion toward those in need.

By wearing pink, our school community raised awareness, honored breast cancer survivors, remembered loved ones lost to the disease, and showed support for the many families affected by breast cancer.

Thank you to our incredible students, families, and staff for making both of these events so impactful. Together, we continue to foster a school community where courage, kindness, compassion, and support for one another shine brightly every day. 💗

With appreciation,

Principal Cunningham
