Kramer Elementary
E-News
Friday September 5, 2025
It was a short week but definitely a busy one! It looks like the weather will start feeling more like fall next week. Please remember to label your students sweatshirts and jackets with their names. Many students start the day with them on, then take them off at recess and the wind up in the lost and found.
We want to thank EVERYONE for helping make the pick up & drop off change a success! We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we keep things improving and moving!

**DROP OFF AND PICK-UP CHANGE**
Thank you for your patience as we implement these changes. By working together and following these guidelines, we can improve the traffic situation around our school, prioritizing the safety of our students. Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to creating a safe environment for all!
If you have any questions or concerns, please call the office.
Attention Parents & Guardians:
For everyone’s safety during student drop-off and pick-up, please remember to use your turn signals when entering and exiting the school parking lot.
This small action helps keep traffic flowing smoothly and protects our students, staff, and fellow drivers.
Thank you for driving safely and setting a great example!

*THE COUNSELOR CORNER*
Hello parents and guardians and welcome back to a new school year!
I hope your summer was fun and restful!
For those of you who are new to Kramer, My name is Robin Durham and I am the school counselor. My job is to support your student’s academic and social emotional growth throughout their time in elementary school. I provide classroom lessons, small groups, individual support, as well as crisis management.
I can be reached two ways…
Email: durhamr@talawanda.org
Phone: (513) 273-3553
I will begin Second Step classroom lessons in September. These lessons will address the specific areas of growth mindset and goal setting, emotion management, empathy and kindness, as well as problem solving. In addition to the Second Step Lessons, I provide teacher requested lessons based on the specific needs of a particular classroom.
Lunch with the Counselor…
One of my goals this school year is to get better acquainted with each and every student at Kramer. I hope to achieve this by inviting small groups of students to have lunch with me each day. In the month of September, I plan to focus on having lunch with and getting to know our new kindergarten class!!
I also provide small groups in which students work with their peers to learn skills that are helpful both in and out of the classroom, as well as short term one on one support. Some of the small groups and one on one support focus on specific areas such as self regulation, coping skills, relationships, etc.
If you are interested in your student receiving any additional support, please complete and return the appropriate permission form.
Kramer Small Group/Lunch Bunch Permission Form 25-26
Kramer Individual Counseling Permission Form 25-26
It has been exciting thus far seeing the students from last school year and how they have grown, as well as beginning to meet all the new students, including the kindergarten class. I look forward to working with your student(s).
