Before you jet out for Spring Break please make sure to:

• Power off Teacher Work Station

• Power off Student Computers and monitors

• Power off any Projectors still in use

• Power off NUC (tiny computer behind Promethean board) and Promethean Board

• Lock/Stow-away Remotes, Student Devices, Wireless keyboards. Anything that can walk away, put away.

• Store Chromebook carts out of sight

Then remember, when we return our devices will need a little TLC as they all try to get to work after being dormant for 9 days.

We are excited to announce that the call for presenters for the Technology and Curriculum Conference of Aldine (TCCA) on October 24, 2020, is officially open. TCCA 2020 is asking for awesome Aldine ISD individuals, who are interested in sharing new ideas and authentic technology integration practices, to apply.

There is the option again this year to purchase a conference t-shirt. New this year is the option to purchase VIP parking!

We are also bringing back Tech Tank which is a Shark Tank style opportunity open to all teachers. ANY classroom teacher is able to compete for 10 Chromebooks for use in their classroom. For more info, click here!

Calling all employees who enjoy taking pictures. We have an opportunity for you. Do you have a camera and enjoy taking creative shots? Find your favorite one (shot after 4/1/2019) and make sure you enter into this year’s photography contest, open to ALL employees. There are a couple of rules to follow.

1. Photographs must be school appropriate.

2. Each photo must fit into one of three categories - people, place, or alterations.

3. The picture should be something you have created since April of 2019.

4. Photos need to be matted preferably in black (white is acceptable) with outer dimensions of (12 X 14).

5. Must be submitted to Dr. M. Kelley at the Bamberg building by April 7, 2020.

6. The photo must fit within the outside dimensions of 12 X 14.
