Week 22

Progress Reports, MTSS Letters, Formal Attendance Notification, Raising Cane's
This past Friday, students brought home folders containing several important documents. We wanted to provide a quick overview of what was included:
Progress Reports
Progress reports for students in 1st–8th grade were printed on purple paper.
MTSS Letters
Provided by Ms. Dahl, these letters inform families about student academic progress and any supports in place.
Attendance Letters
These letters, provided by the administration, share information about your child’s attendance. Almost every student received one. We attempted to filter out students with extraordinary circumstances (medical/daily service needs, bussing issues, surgery, immigration matters, etc.). If you believe your child received an attendance letter in error, please contact the office so we can review and address it.
Raising Cane’s Giveaway
Thanks to the generosity of Raising Cane’s, 100 free kids’ meal vouchers were distributed to students with 96% or higher attendance. These were labeled with the student’s name and included with progress reports.
Please take a few moments to review these materials. As always, thank you for your partnership and support!
Jungman is currently working on our Continuous Improvement Plan, and family voice is a critical part of that process. We want to better understand how to engage, support, and connect with our families in meaningful ways.
Your feedback will help us improve parent involvement, strengthen our school community, and plan meetings, events, and opportunities that work best for you and your family. This survey is short and should take about 3 minutes to complete.
Thank you for taking the time to share your voice — your input truly matters.
You can find the survey HERE
Eagle Accelerators (for students in Grades 5-8)
We are excited to officially launch Eagle Accelerators, Jungman’s Advanced Programming & High School Readiness Initiative.
This program is designed to help students begin earning high school competency early and build a strong academic foundation before they even leave 8th grade. These classes will not replace High School Credits needed, but will provide students with a path for more advanced courses and more choices for their High School Classes.
Through structured pathways in Math, English, and World Language, Eagle Accelerators provides students with access to rigorous coursework, personalized staff support, and a clear roadmap toward high school success. We are not waiting for takeoff, we are preparing our Eagles now so they are ready to soar next year when we are in full swing!

- Login/Create an account online
- Bring your photo ID to the office or email it to Ms. Jessica at jmoreno83@cps.edu
- WATCH for an email from CPS that has a video you need to watch. When you complete the video, you download and send a copy of the certificate to volunteer@cps.edu
If you don't follow these steps, you will not be approved! This is not a Jungman policy, this is a District Policy!
