Chick-fil-a ordering is now open for October! Please visit myschoolbucks.com to order. Be sure to select the correct student and day when ordering, CHANGES CANNOT BE MADE.

Chick-fil-a will be offered on Mondays 10/5, 10/19 & 10/26

Chick-fil-a will be offered on Thursdays 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22 & 10/29

Dillas will be offered on FRIDAY 10/16

See You At The Pole

Date: Wednesday, September 23, 2026

Time: Before school 7:20

Location: At local school flagpoles everywhere

What it is: A student-led, student-organized prayer gathering where young people pray for their schools, friends, families, and nation

This will need to be led by a parent or older student. There might be LPS employees attending but we cannot lead. Please let me know if you are interested in leading.

Gifted and Talented Referral Window

The Gifted and Talented referral window opens on September 11th for referring students in grades 1st-11th grade. If you were not able to attend the GT presentation at curriculum night, you can view it HERE.

The window for referral will close on September 25th at 4:00.

Kindergarten GT screening and assessment will take place in January and February. Please do not complete this form for kindergarten students.
If your student is already in the GT program at LPS you do not need to complete this form.

Event Information

Leader in Me Meet and Greet

Please come and meet all the teachers. This will be a time to meet your child's classmates and parents as well. Feel free to bring your dinner, some lawn chairs, and games for the kids to play. We will be in the back of the church in the field. We will have information about Leader in Me.

Class and Individual Photos 9/30

Make sure that you have the cleanest clothes and the prettiest smiles ready for Wednesday September 30th. On this day your child will take school pictures in their uniforms. They will take class and individual pictures. We will be sending home order forms. You can also order after the fact with the QR code in the blue folder.

Cyber Security Seminar

Join us at Majestic Gardens Leadership Prep for a Cyber Safety Parent Seminar led by the Children’s Advocacy Center. This informative session will help parents better understand the digital world their children are navigating and provide practical strategies for keeping them safe online. Topics will include common online risks, inappropriate content, privacy, online grooming and enticement, and how to have important conversations with your child about internet safety.

Come learn, ask questions, and leave with tools you can use at home to help your child navigate technology safely and confidently.
