As we celebrate our Operetta this week, we are incredibly proud of the courage, talent, and spirit displayed by every single performer, crew member and supporter in the seats. It is a beautiful reminder of the joy that comes from sharing our individual voices as one. From our cast shining in the spotlight, our chorus filling the air with harmony, or the incredible crew working tirelessly behind the scenes - every student plays a vital role in bringing this production to life!
In these moments of shared joy, we see a reflection of the deep, abiding love that calls us to serve one another as Christ served us. Just as we come together as families to support and uplift our children, we are reminded of the humility of our King as He entered Jerusalem.
May His path of selfless love be the light which guides our families as we follow Him toward the season of Easter! 🌱

Details for this Week's Events:
- Thursday, March 26th @ 7 PM
- Attire: Uniform Bottoms with HSM, Jr Spirit Shirt OR Uniform Polo & Cardigan
- Doors open at 6:30 PM
- ALL 3rd - 8th grade Chorus students report to the cafeteria @ 6:30 PM (no younger siblings can be dropped off at this time with them).
- Friday, March 27th @ 10:30 AM
- Attire: Full Uniform (Mass @ 8:30 AM)
- Doors open at 10:00 AM
- NO BACKPACKS NEEDED! Dismissal is allowed after the student checks out with their assigned teacher from Gym after the performance ends.
- All classes will then dismiss as usual at 12 PM in their designated areas.

- 3/26 - Operetta Performance @ 7 pm (3-8 Chorus students arrive @ 6:30 pm)
- 3/26 - Report Cards go home!
- 3/27 - Grandfriends Mass @ 8:30 am (St. Cecilia Cathedral)
- For this special Mass with our Grandfriends, we will be back in the Cathedral with security present at our North and West doors (along with our typical safety protocols).
- Donuts will be provided in the Cafeteria after Mass! 🍩
- 3/27 - Operetta Performance @ 10:30 am (Gymnasium)
- 3/27 - Noon Dismissal @ 12 pm
- 3/31 - All School Mass @ 8:30 am

- Cathedral Alumni Basketball Tournament (March 27 - 29)
- Come be a part of the fun at the Annual Basketball Tournament!
- ABC manages the Bird Feeder Concession Stand for St. Cecilia and we need two volunteers for each shift to keep things running smoothly. Please note that for safety reasons behind the counter, this is an adults-only volunteer opportunity. Thank you so much for your support!

Join us on Friday, March 27th!
8:30 am - Mass in Cathedral
9:30 am - Donuts in Cafeteria
10:00 am - All students dismissed by grade to line up with assigned teacher. Grandfriends head up to the gym to snag the best seats in the house, then get ready to shop from the Comedy & Cuisine treasures and the HSM-themed goodies!
10:30 am - Performance begins!
12:00 pm - Dismissal is allowed from Gym.
*Students must "check out" with their assigned teacher.
Celebrate School Nutrition Royalty with a “Thank You” through the Nebraska Dept. of Education! 👑
Hear ye, hear ye! Nebraska SNAC and NDE are collecting comments honoring local school nutrition teams (i.e., Nutrition Royalty) that work hard to feed kids around Nebraska! Let it be known that from March 16 - April 8, community members can share their words of appreciation and thanks through this easy online form.
Comments will be shared directly with nutrition teams, through an online gallery and on NDE social media, leading up to National School Lunch Hero Day on May 1st!

Mentorship Program: Application Process Open!
The application process for the Mentorship Program for Lay Leaders is now open and will close on 5/1. This program equips lay people to confidently and fruitfully share their faith through friendship and deep investment in others. Training is practical and hands-on, teaching key habits and skills for intentional evangelization through individual accompaniment.
