Gifted Referral Process

Alice ISD students in grades K-11 may be referred for testing once per year to determine if they qualify for gifted/talented services.

The referral window opens October 14, 2025 and closes October 30, 2025. Referrals are not after the referral window.

If you would like for your child/ren to be evaluated to determine it they qualify for gifted/talented services, please complete the this Referral for GT Testing Google Form.

Alice ISD universally tests all students in 2nd grade. If your child/ren is in 2nd grade, you do not need to complete a referral form for them to be tested.

• Referral forms are required for students in kindergarten, 1st grade, and 3rd through 8th grades.
• 2nd grade: Please do not complete a referral. All Alice ISD 2nd grade students are universally tested.

The window to complete the referral form opens October 14, 2025 and closes October 29, 2025. The form will be unavailable after that time. Before beginning the process, please check that your primary contact information in Skyward is accurate and up to date.
