As we move through the second trimester, the many snow days we’ve experienced can make it challenging to settle back into a consistent routine. Regular attendance and predictable daily routines are especially important for our youngest learners, and we appreciate your efforts to help your child arrive at school each day ready to learn.
To support students and families, we want to share the process we follow when attendance becomes a concern. If a student begins to show patterns of chronic absence, our school team will reach out to partner with you. Our goal is to understand what may be getting in the way and to work together on solutions. We believe strongly in collaboration and will always seek to support families before involving the countywide Truancy Officer.
Please know that we are here for you. If you need assistance, have questions, or would like to talk through attendance concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out. We truly want to work with you and support your child’s success.
Looking ahead, Kindergarten Round-Up will take place on April 9th from 6:00–7:30 PM. If your family has an incoming kindergartener, or if you know of families who do, we invite you to join us! More information will be shared in the coming month.
