Middle School - 3/19 & 3/26
Middle School Update - March 19 and March 26, 2026
Principal's Note
I cannot believe we have already reached the conclusion of the third quarter this school year. As I walked through the hallways this week, I was reminded of how much our students have grown since starting school back in August. We serve a faithful God who is guiding these kids through every awkward, wonderful moment of middle school, and that is something worth pausing on before break.
As we head into Spring Break, my prayer is that your families find time for rest, reflection, and quality time together. We are intentional about finishing the quarter strong, and I am proud of the effort our students are putting into their final assignments and assessments this week.
Finishing Strong Before Spring Break
With Spring Break just around the corner, it's natural for students to start looking ahead. We want to acknowledge that the break is something to look forward to! But we're asking families to partner with us in keeping the momentum strong these last few days. Consistent homework routines, healthy sleep, and gentle reminders that our expectations for academic effort and Christlike character remain high right through the finish line will make a real difference.

Chapel Recap: 3/17
This week in chapel, our beloved PE teacher, Mr. Bill Campbell, had the courage to share a part of his testimony to the Middle School and High School students.
Our theme this year in chapel is running back to the Father, our God. Our student-led chapel committee believed it was important that we have student and staff testimonies shared in chapel as we endeavor to come back to Jesus. Testimonies show us God's faithfulness and the restorative power of the gospel.
Mr. Campbell is a walking testimony. He spoke on the danger of alcoholism, how God saved his life, and the miracles that took place in his body despite the expectations of the medical field. I can personally testify the impact of his willingness to share his life as many students considered it one of the best chapels. There has been a theme in chapel this year. Students are eager to hear about the power of Jesus, and we are thankful for teachers like Mr. Campbell who boldly proclaim Christ's supremacy.
Seek the King, He is so worth it.

Behavior Tracking Program
As we head into the fourth quarter, we are hitting reset on student behavior trackers. Every student enters Q4 with a clean slate, regardless of where their tracker finished this quarter. For the students who worked hard to maintain good standing, that effort built something real in them, and it is not unnoticed.
For others, a new quarter means a fresh start. We believe that growth and second chances are woven into who God made our students to be, and fourth quarter is a great opportunity to put that into practice. We are excited to see what our middle schoolers do with it.
