Enter your student’s name and NEXT YEAR’S grade level (to properly label the kit) to add the kit to your shopping cart. Select any optional student accessories you’d like such as backpacks, headphones, lunch bags, water bottles, and food jars and then proceed to secure checkout. It is extremely simple and convenient!


The entire process takes less than 2 minutes and you can do it on your phone or from the comfort of your home. Your student’s supply kit and any optional accessories you ordered will be individually labeled and delivered directly to the school prior to the start of the new school year.

Debbie Owens

has been in education for 26 years. For 18 of those years, she has served Athens City Schools in the special education department. The last 12 of those have been at AIS. Debbie is retiring to travel with her husband and spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Jeremy Crum

has been teaching PE at AIS for the past three years. Prior to this year, he helped coach football and track in Athens City. Coach Crum will be moving closer to home in Montgomery to continue his career.

Anthony Conwell

joined us this year to teach PE and help coach football at AHS. He will be joining a coaching staff at a school near Birmingham.

DRESS CODE

From pages 35 - 36 of the ACS Student Parent Handbook:

All students are required to comply with the following guidelines:

1. Shoes must be worn and properly laced or fastened. Tennis shoes are required for participation in P.E. classes. Shoes determined to be dangerous or a safety hazard will not be worn.

2. Clothing will be worn as the manufacturers designed them.

3. Students will not wear clothing that reveals the body in an inappropriate manner. No middrifts or cut-offs.

4. Hats, caps, and other head attire will not be worn in school.

5. Any clothing, ornaments or accessories that distract from the educational process will not be worn.

6. With the approval of the principal or designee, student participants of school-sponsored activities, e.g. dress up day, may dress in a manner that does not conform to the dress code.

7. The principal or designee is authorized to determine inappropriate dress and to declare violations of these requirements.
