Roosevelt News

We’d like to share a quick reminder about playground use after school. Our ACES School Age Child Care Program uses the playground each day as part of its activities, so the space is reserved for ACES students until the program ends at 6:00 p.m.

After 6:00 p.m., the playground is open to the public.

We appreciate your help in making sure our ACES students have a safe and consistent space during program hours. If you are looking for other places to play before 6:00 p.m., the City of Mankato offers a list of parks here, a map of North Mankato parks can be found here, and Eagle Lake here.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!

Parents and Guardians,

Spring is in the air, and that means our annual Roosevelt Spring Carnival is just around the corner! This is one of our most exciting events of the year, and it wouldn't be possible without the support of our amazing school community.

We're looking for volunteers to help make this event fun and memorable for all of our students. There are a variety of opportunities available, including helping with games, assisting with setup and cleanup, and more. Whether you can give an hour or a full shift, every bit of help makes a big difference.

If you're able to volunteer, please sign up using the link below:

Roosevelt PTO: Roosevelt Spring Carnival Sign Up 2026

The carnival will take place on Thursday, April 30 from 3:30-6:30. We'd love to see you there-both as a volunteer and as part of the fun!

Thank you for your continued support of our school. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

Warmly,

Roosevelt PTO
