Lost and Found
Our Lost and Found bin is overflowing! Students may ask their teacher to check the Lost and Found bin for missing items. It is located in the small APR.
Items will be displayed in the main entrance vestibule during conferences. Make sure to check the collection on your way to conferences! Unclaimed items will be donated on December 19.
Winter Weather
As we enter the colder months, we will continue to take students outside for recess whenever possible. Thank you for helping us to prepare your child(ren) for an enjoyable recess period.
- Students should dress in layers, and bring jackets/coats, hats and gloves every day.
- Please lable all clothing with your child's name in case an item is left behind during recess.
In the event of inclement weather, any cancellations of afterschool activities or extracurricular events are made by the District. The Facilities Department assesses conditions to ensure sidewalks and parking lots are safe, clean, and clear for students, staff, and visitors. Any cancellations will be communicated via District email and banners on the website.
No Place for Hate Service Learning Project
For our second No Place for Hate Project, we will be supporting families in need by collecting and making plastic cutlery bags for families served by Cathedral Kitchen. This aligns with our Core Value focus on Citizenship. Students will meet in Shark Squads on Monday, 12/15, to put the bags together.
If you are interested in donating to the service project, please send any of the following in with by Monday, 12/15:
plastic forks, spoons, and knives
napkins
salt and pepper packets
individually packaged hand wipes
small sandwich bags
