4-6 Basketball Schedule Change

Basketball will be moving dates on April 9th and the 16th.

In order to avoid conflict with the Bus to Swim Program we will instead be running practice on April 8th and 15th.

Bus to Swim

We have had confirmation of our Bus to Swim program for our grade 2-6 students. Permission slips went home today (and are attached below). There is a tight turn around as we only just received final confirmation. All permissions slips need to be returned my April 7th. The start date is April 9th.

Dates are April 9, 16, 23, 30, and May 1st. Student leave and lunch are return around 4:15pm. The cost to students is $100.

Community Contribution

As you all know this will be the last year of Wildwood School. As part of that I have been sharing bits of our schools history. If you have bits of history or artifacts that you would like to share please email or call Mr. Stoyles so we can share parts of the school's past as we get ready for a new future in September.

As always feel free to reach out regarding any questions or concerns by calling the school at 780-325-3858 or emailing me at alanstoy@gypsd.ca.

Sincerely,

Alan Stoyles

Principal

Wildwood School: Peace Keepers Wildwood School: Peace Keepers

Some of you may remember this little piece from the School History. Students that were go to people to help with playground issues. These "Peace Keepers" would help students navigate their issues. You can see on of their vests in our display case.

If you are dropping by the school look in the display case by the gym for some pieces of our past.

FOPLS FOPLS

Our students from Evansview, Wildwood, and Grand Trunk High School are coming together under one roof — and we want to make sure they have a playground that brings them together too!

The Friends of Pembina Learning Society (FOPLS) is running a raffle fundraiser to help create a fun, safe, and engaging space where kids can play, grow, and make memories for years to come.

Your support will help make this playground a place our children are proud to call their own!
