Fundraiser Update
February Fundraisers for the Win!
We made tons of progress toward our fund in February thanks to our Valentine’s Day and Super Bowl fundraisers! Thank you to all of our volunteers, with a special shout-out to Alexandra, Perla, Rebecca, James, Ethan, and Jordan for helping make these events such a success.
So Close!
Thanks to an unexpected PTA allotment, and the incredible success of our Valentine’s Day and Super Bowl fundraisers, we are so close to reaching our target goal (sooner than expected)!
Join us for our final fundraisers, including the Mets game and the remaining bake sales, to help push us across the finish line!

Yearbook
Hi families! We are actively producing the yearbook, and need your help with 3 things, due March 15.
[1] Baby Pictures (required): We need lots of pictures, but right now the priority is baby pictures. We have 24 pictures so far… that means 52 kids still need them!
Put baby pics in the folder here
See tip at bottom for uploading pics from your phone.
[2] “All about us!” Student survey (required): A special part of the yearbook is the capture of students’ point of view at this point in time. All 5th grade students should fill this out; results will be compiled for the yearbook. Please work with your child to give their responses. We can’t wait to read their responses! Link here.
[3] Optional: Doodles: What’s a doodle?
Through the yearbook, we feature small doodles to make the pages fun, spread the theme, and feature the kids’ hand-drawn art. This year’s student-chosen theme is NYC! This flier features former yearbook doodles and some NYC inspiration.
Think: Buildings, bagels, squirrels, parks, Plus - PS107 things like the mascot, classroom items, etc - we can’t wait to see the creativity!
How do we participate?
Students should draw on plain white paper.
Take a picture (or scan) the drawing.
Post the file in our folder with the student’s name and what it is, e.g. Building_JaneSmith.
Upload photos or pdfs here.
[4] Optional: Cover Page Designs
Several students expressed interest in designing the cover page. Please have them start working on their ideas so they can fine tune their drawings. We will have a vote on which design will be featured on the yearbook.
TIP: Uploading photos from your phone
Download the Google Drive App for mobile devices. (iPhone and Android)

5th Grade Legacy Project
Did you know that the 5th grade will be creating a class legacy project? They are currently working on creating quilt squares in Ms. Julie’s art class which will be sewn together and presented to PS 107 to hang in the school as a lasting reminder of the Class of 2026. We already have a wonderful team of crafty parents and grandparents working on this project, but if you have quilting expertise and would like to join in, please respond to this email.
Graduation Slideshow
Thank you to everyone who has been sharing photos for the yearbook, please keep doing so!
In addition to those submissions, we will also be creating a slideshow for graduation. If you’re interested in helping with this project, please reply to this email.
For the slideshow we are looking for great portrait shots from over the years. Please add any photos to the google drive here: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1hwefHuQ3VE8XEueOW8m9psQ0eE0Ft2Zl
We want to make sure that everyone is represented so please keep the photos coming.
