STUDENT INFORMATION FORMS

After avatars, students were ready to meet their friends. But this time we followed a different way.

We didn't want our students to introduce themselves, we wanted them to introduce their friends. So with contribution of all partners we prepared Student Information Forms. Students filled in these forms and then we matched the partners as group of 2 schools by using Keamk Web Tool. And after that the students shared this forms with their friends.

WHO AM I? GAME

We as project partners we prepared, made a game of "Who Am I?" together.

Like the other tasks our students at our schools worked on the task as a team.

Each school chose 4 students for the task.

For the "Who Am I? Game there were 7 groups.

1- Singers (Female)

2- Singers (Male)

3- Actors

4- Actresses

In total 104 cards prepared by the students.

On the front side with our students we decided to use our project logo.

We were planning the play with the cards at our schools but because of Covid-19 we couldn't.

Here you can see some examples of these cards with the instructions of the game.

WRITING OPEN ENDED SHORT STORIES TOGETHER

For the project we decided to write some Open Ended Short Stories with our students.

On the task of writing Open Ended Short stories communication and collaboration were the most important aspects.

On this task fist we matched the teachers for writing 7 different open ended stories. On each group there were either 3 or 4 teachers, schools.

After the matching and arranging the 7 groups to write the stories, each school chose 5 students and they wrote one paragraph of their story.

A school started the the story then the other schools after reading the paragraph before them continued the stories.

We haven't finished the stories because we wanted the students to read theses Open Ended Stories and to talk about the possible endings at their schools.

We collected all the stories on a book and by using two different Web.2.0 Tools we shared these books with other students and teachers, too.

DIFFERENT ENDINGS FOR THE OPEN ENDED SHORT STORIES

Because of Covid-19 students couldn't talk about the stories at their school and we had to change the plan..

Some volunteer students read the stories they chose with their own endings, they recorded their voice, shared on Padlet page. After that the others listened to these stories wrote their ideas about the endings on discussion part of Twinspace.

OUR ACROSTIC POEM

As 25 partners we decided to write an Acrostic Poem about our project.

Each school wrote a line of the poem.

A student from each school was chosen and these 25 students wrote the poem together (of course they got the ideas of their teams while writing).

They read the lines which were written before their lines and continued the poem.

Through this poem we also saw the ideas of our students about the project.

We liked it a lot we hope that you like it too.

CHAT HOURS

Our students wanted to talk to each other and we again arranged chat hours for them

EU COUNTRIES PRESENTATIONS

Our students prepared presentations about 27 EU Countries

As the founders of project Efser Neci and Deniz Akşamoğlu's students were responsible for 2 countries, the other partners' students were responsible for 1 EU Country.

Each school chose 4 students for the presentation of each country.

They together used Google Slides, with collaboration and communication they made their presentations.

According to the plan students were expected to present their presentations in front of the class. We were planning to use the information from all 27 countries to make speaking activity for comparion of the countries, too. But Because of Covid-19 they couldn't.

By clicking on the Padlet page below, you can reach the presentations of the 27 EU Countries

WE THOUGHT THAT IF WE RUN AN eTWINNING PROJECT WE NEED TO GET INFORMATION ABOUT ALL EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRIES AND DECIDED TO PREPARE PRESENTATIONS ABOUT 27 EU COUNTRIES (THE PRESENTATIONS HAVE BEEN PREPARED BY STUDENTS BUT AFTER THE PREPRATION COLTROLLED BY THEIR TEACHER FROM THEIR SCHOOL AND SHARED ON TWINBOARD ON TWINSPACE. )
