Mill Creek SOAR'n Announcement
Remote Learning Guidance for Families
Message from MCI Administration
I hope this message finds you well! As we prepare for potential upcoming remote learning days due to inclement weather, I wanted to provide you with key details about the schedule and expectations for the day. Our goal is to balance meaningful educational opportunities with time for students to enjoy their snow day.
The remote learning day schedule has been thoughtfully designed to include live lessons with your child’s teacher as well as independent activities. It is essential that your child logs on for the live sessions as these are integral to their learning experience. If your child is unable to attend the live lessons, please communicate with their teacher to report the absence, just as you would on a regular school day.
We appreciate your partnership and flexibility as we navigate these potential remote learning days together. Below, you will find the detailed schedule that was originally sent home on Jan. 6 and additional procedures to ensure a smooth day for everyone.
Thank you for your continued support!
Sincerely -
Beth McCoy, Principal
Erin Butler, Assistant Principal

What do I do if I need help with my technology?
Your classroom teacher can help you troubleshoot most technology issues. Mrs. Dugan and Mrs. Allis are also available to help you. I have listed their emails below. I have also attached a general 'how to' guide on how to submit work in Schoology, log into Clever, and how to add wi-fi to your iPad.

Will my student be allowed to make-up missed work?
While it is in the best interest of your student to complete the work on the assigned day, students will be allowed to submit work up to 2 days after returning to school. The work that is assigned on these remote days are part of our instructional program. The assignments will be required to be completed.
