Happy Weekend Wildcat Families,

I hope that our families and students enjoyed our first "Fall Break." I think it was a perfect opportunity to spend some time together, pull out the fall decorations, and even take a mini-trip. Before you know, it will be Thanksgiving and Christmas break.

Our middle schoolers just received their first report card of the year. Please make sure that you log into HAC and review those grades. Have conversations with your student on how they can improve for the next grading period.

1. Are we reviewing before tests?

2. Are we dedicating 20-30 minutes each day to review material from the subject we may be struggling with?

3. Are we attending tutoring? Do we know when each of our teachers is offering tutoring?

4. Are we taking advantage of reteach and retesting opportunities?

We are here to support you if you need it. We know for our 6th graders, this is a new process for them and sometimes our 7th/8th graders require guidance as they get back into the groove of school routines and procedures.

We know that it takes a village to raise our children, so please don't hesitate to reach out.

Students enrolled in Innovative Thinkers 3 worked on their community action project today by completing a public artwork display.

The next National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is October 24, 2026, from 10am-2pm (local time) at locations nationwide.

This event, which happens twice a year, is a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs at locations in communities throughout the country. Find a location near you.

The April 2026 Take Back Day brought in 642,410 lbs. (321 Tons) of medication. Get more details about the most recent Take Back Day numbers.

This brings the total amount of prescription drugs collected by DEA since the fall of 2010 to more than 21,034,225lbs. (10,517 Tons) of medication.
