Dear Griffin Families,

We are glad to have all of our returning (and new) Bulldogs back for the 2024 - 2025 school year! This past school year we had fun learning and celebrating our students' growth! Our Griffin PTA helped us immensely in making sure that our Bulldogs were celebrated monthly for their successes with our Fun Fridays! We met our growth goal in academics thanks to your child's and our staff's commitment to showing up and being willing to grow and learn! We rose two levels to a C, and our goal for this year is to continue our growth to become a B campus.

I encourage you to commit to the following areas in order to help your child have a successful year:

• Attendance - make sure your child is in the room by 7:50 ready to learn! Please wait until 3:10 to pick up your child. Early pick-ups result in lost learning time.
• Involvement - communication with your child's teacher, attendance to student events, participation in PTA...
• Focus - remind your child of the purpose for school: to learn academics and how to be a responsible citizen. Tie their behavior, reading, math, and science learning to their future goals.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone for helping ensure a safe and strong start back to school the last week! Without your care and commitment, this would not have been possible!
