A Strong Start for the 2025–2026 School Year
As we begin the 2025–2026 school year, I want to thank you for the support, encouragement, and trust you give our students and staff. One of the greatest strengths of Johnson City ISD is our close-knit community, where we work together to ensure that every student is known, valued, and supported.
This year, we remain focused on providing high quality instruction, building strong partnerships with families, and creating a safe, welcoming environment for all. Our staff has been working hard to prepare classrooms, finalize lesson plans, and create engaging opportunities for students to learn and grow. Whether in academics, fine arts, athletics, or other extracurricular activities, we want every student to find their place and thrive.
As the year gets underway, I encourage you to stay connected, attend events, volunteer, and share in the successes of our students. Together, we can make this a year of academic achievement, personal growth, and community pride.
Here’s to a great start and an even greater year ahead.

December 10th Designated as Student Holiday
Johnson City ISD is proud to host this year’s UIL District Academic Meet at LBJ Middle School. To provide the best possible environment for our students and visiting competitors, Wednesday, December 10, will be a student holiday. This will allow our campuses and staff to focus on facilitating the event, ensuring smooth operations, and supporting participants throughout the day.
Lady Eagles Celebrate State Championship with Ring Ceremony
The 2024 Class 2A Division I State Champion Lady Eagles Volleyball team received their state rings during the “Meet the Eagles” event on August 1. This celebration honored their remarkable season and historic championship victory, bringing the community together to recognize their hard work, dedication, and achievement.
