Unexpected delays or closings are announced by 6:30 a.m. on the Marshall Academy APP and via robo call/text message. School closings will also be posted on the Marshall Academy website www.marshallacademy.org, Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/marshallacademygriffons, and WILX News Station.

PLEASE DO NOT CALL TEACHERS OR THE ACADEMY.

Marshall Academy takes attendance very seriously. Being present in school every day is the foundation for student achievement and academic success. If students are not in school, they are missing out on what is being taught and are at risk for experiencing lower academic performance. When absences become a pattern or become a chronic issue, students can fall behind and experience academic struggles as well as challenges beyond the classroom.

It's also Popcorn & Pickle Friday! We are now introducing large size pickles to our Popcorn Friday For $1 students may purchase a bag of freshly popped popcorn and/or large size pickles, all proceeds will benefit our MAPA group. *Please note there will be no popcorn or pickles sold on half-days.*

MAPA is also hosting a pop can drive! Drop off your bottles and cans to support the parent group.

Thank you for supporting MA!

Mark your calendars! Santa’s Secret Shop will be open December 1st–4th from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each day.

Our MAPA group is thrilled to host this beloved annual tradition, where students can experience the joy of secretly picking out thoughtful, inexpensive gifts for their loved ones—all on their own!

The shop will feature a wide variety of kid-friendly gifts, with most items priced under $5. It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to practice budgeting skills, enjoy the spirit of giving, and create lasting holiday memories.

Please keep an eye out for a budget envelope/form that will be sent home to help your child plan their shopping.

For more information, contact Marshall Academy at (269) 781-6330.

Exciting news, our MA school spirit wear order forms were sent home with students! MA spirit wear can be worn every Friday with uniform bottoms. There is an option to add a name on the back of the shirts for an extra $4.00. All order forms and money can be turned into the Marshall Academy office or homeroom teacher. ALL ORDERS ARE DUE NEXT MONDAY, NOVEMBER 24th!

The best part is MA will receive 18% back to the school on the total of purchases.💙💛

These make great gifts for Christmas! Order your MA spirit wear today!🎄🎁

As the temperatures drop and we head into winter, a couple of important reminders.

• If the "feels like" temperature is 10 degrees or warmer we will be outside for recess.
• If a student would like to play in the snow (off the blacktop), then they must have snow pants and boots.
• It is important that students have a hat, gloves, boots, snow pants etc each day at school.

As the weather gets colder, please remember that our doors do not open and supervision does not begin until 7:45 am. Student arriving before then will need to wait outside.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
