The WOLFPACK Family/Community News
Coupeville School District December 1, 2025
Message from Superintendent
Dear Coupeville Families,
December is such a special time in our schools! Across the district, our students and staff are engaged in meaningful learning, holiday performances, seasonal celebrations, and acts of kindness that remind us why our community is so special. From classroom projects to winter concerts, from art displays to athletic competitions, there's so much to celebrate about the incredible work happening in our schools every day.
As we look ahead to 2026, I want to remind you about two important levies on the February ballot that directly support our students and schools:
Technology Levy: This levy funds critical technology needs that keep our schools running effectively, including devices for student learning, infrastructure maintenance, and safety and security systems that protect our students and staff.
Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) Levy: This levy supports essential programs and operations such as staffing, curriculum materials, extracurricular activities, athletics, arts programs, and the day-to-day operational needs that keep our schools strong.
Your vote matters! We encourage all community members to learn more about these levies and to exercise your right to vote in the February election. The future of our schools depends on an informed and engaged community.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful December filled with joy, learning, and togetherness.
Sincerely,
Superintendent Leatherwood

I encourage all community members to take time to read and carefully review the facts about two levy renewals that will appear on the February 10, 2026 ballot. These are replacement levies for funding that our community last approved in 2022. It's important to understand that there are TWO separate propositions on the ballot:
