A Message from the Principal
Dear Academy Families and Friends,
It's hard to believe it's the first day of March!
This month is full of different events from Academy Mystery Readers, March Mathness (ST Math competition), Panda Day and ELA MCAS starting up at the end of the month. To celebrate Read Across America week, the AAPC has kicked off it's monthly reaching competition where students can submit their reading logs to enter the contest. The more you read, the more your chances of winning rise! Starting Monday night, check your email for the link to the Academy Mystery Readers. Tune in each night this week to see different members of the Academy staff reading the chapters of the book, Dragons in a Bag. Join us each night!
From our Health and Wellness Committee: The Wildcat Water Zone starts this Wednesday in the cafe and the flyers for our annual 3 v 3 Basketball Tournament went out last week for students in Grades 3-5. Don't delay, we have space for 24 teams in this amazing event.
Also just an update to the lunch menu, this week fun lunch will be bagel on Monday and Tuesday and Cereal for Wednesday-Friday.
I am really excited to see the temperature climb this weekend and longer sunlit evenings. Daylight savings in just around the corner and hopefully signs of Spring will be here soon!.
