Greetings Students, Families, and Community Members,

The NATIVES Program would like to invite Program families to sign their student(s) up for Sky Camp 2024. Campers entering 3rd through 10th grade for the 2024-2025 school year and enrolled in the NATIVES Program and has a current 506 form on file are eligible for signing up.

All Camper packets and forms must be filled out and
returned to the offices by June 7, 2024.

Workers for camp are as follows: Counselor in Training (16 years and older), Counselors and Class Knowledge Instructors (18 years and older). Please share this newsletter and packets adults who might be interested. We are looking to bring a wealth of knowledge to share with our students. We are seeking Elders and Knowledge Keepers who are able and wiling to share their gifts and culture with us. All Worker packets and forms must be filled out and returned to the offices by May 31st. (THIS HAS BEEN EXTENDED!!) Workers hired will depend on attendance of campers, and receipt date of completed and submitted worker application.

For paper copies of application, please let us know if you need one. We will be more than happy to provide a printed copy for you.

Finally, if you are able to submit packets electronically, please submit both worker and camper packets to natives@4j.lane.edu.

To apply for the Counselor positions, applicants must be 18 years of age or older (can be 12th grade students if they also meet age requirement); Counselor-In-Training applicants are 16 years of age or older; Counselor and Class Knowledge Instructors applicants are 18 years of age or older. Those selected as Counselors and CITS will be required to work including arriving in the morning of June 17, 2024 to load up the truck and other camp related items. Counselors and CITS will also assist unloading the truck June 21, 2024. The health form, liability release form and this application must be filled out and returned to the office in order to be considered for positions.

Fill out the application (signed by both parent and camper) that includes, the signed permission slip, and signed liability release forms also. All applications must be received no later than June 7th, 2024. One complete set of forms needs to be filled out for EACH camper. Early registration is encouraged as space fills quickly and priority includes receipt date of completed packet. You must complete all forms in order to be put on the camper list.
