OFFICE NEWS
LEAVING EARLY: PARENT REMINDER
Leaving Early
If your student will be picked up early due to an appointment or scheduled activity, a written note must be sent to school for their teacher and the front office.
If a student needs to be picked up early from school, please pick them up by 3PM or earlier. We will not release students between 3-3:30PM due to the teacher end of day routine and bus dismissal.
Please bring your driver’s license so we may verify you are on the pickup list.
LOST & FOUND
Anything look familiar? Please plan to check the lost and found before our Wellness Week break. Over the first quarter of the school year, jackets, hoodies, water bottles, and lunchboxes, tend to pile up. Stop by before the break and check our green box located in the corner of the gymnasium. While you're at it, consider labeling items with your child's name or initials so they find their way home next time. A few minutes now could save you from replacing a favorite sweatshirt or a pricey water bottle.
ATTENDANCE & OFFICE INFORMATION
If you are calling the school office about your student, and your call is not answered, please leave a message on the Gables Office voicemail and your call will be returned promptly.

Seat Belt Safety
Seat Belt Safety is important! We all want to keep our children safe, both at home and on the road. One of the simplest and most effective ways to prevent injury or death in a car crash is by using seat belts correctly; every time we are in the car. I hope this information is helpful.
Ohio Car Seat Law 4511.81
Parents and caregivers are required by Ohio law to obey the following safety practices:
Infants and young children must ride in a child safety seat until they are 4 years old AND weigh at least 40 pounds. Every child age 4-8 who is no longer in a car seat must use a booster seat until she reaches 4’9” tall. Children and teens ages 8-15 who are not in booster seats must use adult seat belts.
