United We Stand
As we enter this new year let us remember that in spite of the many differences our founding mothers and fathers had, it was their focus on a common goal and common good that helped them establish and refine the country we live in today. It is, and it always will be, a work in progress. Our nation's success requires each of us to be active participants in that process.
We have been tasked to ensure that the rising generation understands and appreciates the blessings and responsibility that come with being a citizen of this country. I consider it a great honor to lead our school alongside you amazing parents in this effort.
May we stand, united, in raising kids who will make us proud of the kind of citizens and human beings they will one day become.
Let us be united in teaching the ten IB Character Traits to our students and reinforcing the practice of these characteristics.
What's Coming Up in 2026?
Middle of Year Acadience Testing starts January 20th. Your teacher will review those results at Parent Teacher Conferences in the week of February 9th.
This Spring you can expect to see the completion of our rock climbing wall in the cafegymatorium! We'll be sure to share photos and we'll give parents a chance to try out that wall alongside their kiddos.
Kids will shift 100% into "Discover Mode" on February 6th for our mostly unstructured "Global Day of Play".
This February our students will get to show off their skills in the annual Talent Show (dates and details coming next week).
Just like last year, you'll be able to show your appreciation for our staff (non-teachers) the week of February 3-7 (see flyer below), and then appreciate our teachers on National Teacher Appreciation week, May 4-8.
So much more to note each week on our calendar:

When Do I NOT Fill Out the Lottery Application?
Students Already Enrolled in Providence Hall
Do NOT fill out the 26-27 Lottery Application for any student who is already enrolled in Providence Hall, because their enrollment automatically rolls over to 26-27 even if moving up to the next school (like moving up from the Elementary to the Junior High, or moving up from the Junior High to the High School).
When Do I Fill Out the Lottery Application?
Students & Siblings Not Already Enrolled in Providence Hall
Do fill out the 26-27 Lottery Application if you have a student who will be entering kindergarten or another grade and is NOT enrolled at Providence Hall. You will need to fill out a lottery application for that student only.
If you need to fill out a lottery application, click this link: https://www.providencehall.com/o/phcs/page/enrollment
How Do I Let You Know My Student Who is Currently Enrolled at Providence Hall Is Returning or Not Returning?
An Enrollment Intent Form (Google Form) will be emailed January 5, 2026 where you let us know if your student will be continuing their enrollment at Providence Hall for 26-27 (next school year) or if your student will be leaving Providence Hall (withdrawing) at the end of this school year.
If you have any questions about enrollment you can always contact the LEA Enrollment Coordinator: Kristin Adams (kadams@providencehall.com)
Students have been asking the question can I bring my own recess equipment from home? The answer is no. We ask that students leave all their footballs, soccer balls, wall balls, jump ropes, etc at home. But great news we have recess equipment for each grade level. Each grade level has their own recess cart that goes out at their recess time. However as you can imagine some items get lost over time. If you would like to purchase items to help refill our recess carts we would appreciate it. Thanks

Last year, Providence Hall students had over $6,000 in unpaid lunch balances. Every family’s journey is unique, but together we can make a big difference! Your donation—no matter the size—will go directly toward reducing student lunch debt across all three schools. Help us make sure every Patriot has a healthy meal and the energy to learn and succeed. Join our No-Fuss Fundraiser and help support our students. Every dollar fills a tray and fuels a mind! Click on the photo above or on this link https://sfnd.io/qnjw5 to make a donation. Thank you.
