Congratulations to our very own Mike Spudic!

Mike was honored at Wednesday nights school board meeting because he is one of only 38 PLTW Engineering teachers in the country to be selected for the Project Lead the Way Outstanding Engineering Educators in the USA!

There are over 3,800 PLTW Engineering Programs in the US and over 19,000 engineering instructors, so Mike's Outstanding Engineering Teacher class of 38 people is .2% of all PLTW Engineering teachers in the country!

Medication in School

Our GOAL is to keep students in school, healthy and ready to learn. It is very common for teenagers to suffer from headaches, menstrual cramps, orthodontic or musculoskeletal pain during the school day. Parents can complete the medication form any time during the school year. This form provides the school nurse permission to administer prescription or over the counter medication (acetaminophen, ibuprofen etc) to your student. Parents must provide a small unopened bottle of medication to keep in the clinic for the entire school year. See the medication form.

Please contact your school nurse, Mrs. Mount if you have any questions mountja@pwcs.edu or 703-743-3540
