Principal's Corner
Dear BFPP Families,
Last week was an amazing week at BFPP, on and off site. I am again in awe with our community; you all just keep doing that!! The Talent and Learning Showcase had me in tears and laughing, the pictures from the 5th grade track meet show such joy and fellowship and the family field trip was an all around simply beautiful! We have one more celebration coming up, the 8th Grade Celebration. I am looking forward to honoring our students and their families. This is milestone that deserves to be marked.
Just a quick note about registration, overall, it went pretty smoothly. We run it at 70% to ensure there are some spots still open for next fall's window. This also allows us to make some adjustments. We are planning on adding some teaching staff and we will make it a priority to focus on 4th and 5th grade with onsite classes. There are always changes between spring and fall, mostly in the form of adding capacity and options.
In partnership and appreciation,
Dr. Kate

Mural Project
Since October I have been coordinating with Principal Kate and Ashley Goulet to paint a mural on our soccer field shed. I drafted four different drawings for what the mural might look like and after picking two I wrote two letters to local stores asking for paint donations. Once I finally got painting, I directed a few of my classmates to help paint the sand and rocks and parts of the grass. Big thank you to Lowe’s for the paint donations. We appreciate your generosity in donating to this project. Another big thank you to Imogen, Sariah, and Ashley for helping me paint. I wouldn't have finished in three weeks without your help. To anyone who hasn’t seen my mural yet, there are pictures below. But it’s definitely worth a trip to the school campus to see in person.
