Happy Fall Friday DCS Families! Well we have done it again, packed a lot into a four day week! Students in Grades K-2 enjoyed scraping all the guts out of the pumpkins and sketching a face to be carved by the students in the upper grades, with careful guidance and supervision of the adults. We then worked hard to prepare for our Open House and Harvest Supper. Thanks to the amazing PTO, staff and students for working so hard to get ready for this evening. It is one of the best events at DCS where we gather to enjoy a meal, share information about our special school, and to enjoy time in the classrooms. Before leaving to tour the classrooms, the whole school sang and signed our school song. Thanks to Deb Quinn for teaching us the signs. Our week rounded out with a Friday morning hike up to White Ledges in Temple. We couldn't have asked for better weather! The final event was a celebration of the retirement of Dublin's Joe Sangermano, Southwestern N.H. District Fire Mutual Aid Chief, where our school lined 101 cheering and waving flags in his honor! I am so thankful for our connected community!

Have a wonderful and relaxing weekend, Nicole
