Deutsch@LHS - CONGRATULATIONS FRAU!

It has been a joyous and memorable week for me and I wanted to share my news with all my students and their families. I received a teaching award last week bestowing me with the highest honor a US high school German teacher can get and this weekend I received an award recognizing my curriculum for sustainable development in the world language classroom at the nation's largest world language conference.

I could not have done this without my supportive students and families. I know the students feel like guinea pigs some days with my alternative teaching style and constant attempts to try new activities to create student engagement but they are always good-natured and support me.
