Congratulations to Grace Baroody and Montgomery Walton for being accepted into the South Carolina American Choral Directors (ACDA) State Honor Choir! There were 1,283 middle schoolers who auditioned. Each student completed an anonymous virtual audition and submitted it for a state-wide panel of Choral Director Judges to score. Out of 1,283 auditionees, only 357 middle schoolers were accepted into this choir. WMS is so proud of these two ladies for being two of the 357 selected to sing! The concert is open to the public on January 24th at Coastal Carolina University.

Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Cross Country team for being named the Region Champs! We are so proud of our students, current and former, for their hard work and dedication. We're looking forward to your continued success at the state level over the next few weeks. Go Warriors!

Congratulations to Leonel Rivera Sanchez for winning the library's October drawing! Every time a student checked out a book the past two weeks, they had a chance to enter their guess as to how many candy "body parts" were in the jar. Leonel was the first one drawn with the exact number and won all 73 pieces! Way to use those estimation skills!
