A Note From Your Directors

Staley Band Families,

Congratulations on such a wonderful set of concerts last week! Your directors are so unbelievably proud of you! Keep up the fantastic work!

ALL Band Families: The fundraiser is DUE on your student's block day! Please make sure all money match what the order form calls for.

Advanced Band: MHS Combined Night on Friday. This is a graded event and all advanced band members need to attend their HS combined night.

MHS Combined NIght Football Game

Friday, 10/18- MHS 7th and 8th graders- MHS Combine Night @ Memorial Stadium

This event is only for 7th and 8th graders attending Memorial High School.
Attire: 8th graders will wear the issued MHS t-shirt and 7th graders should wear their blue band shirt.
3:35pm - Students stay after school and we feed them dinner in the Cafe
We will walk over to Memorial Stadium as soon as MHS Band arrives
9:00pm - Students will all walk back to the band hall after halftime where parents should pick them up promptly.
Parents are encouraged to purchase a ticket and watch with us! Students will be dismissed after the halftime show has concluded.

Sectional/Reward Candy

We love rewarding our students and are asking for your help! With Halloween around the corner, candy is all around us!

For every bag of miniature candy, we will give 5 bonus stickers to your student. No limit to the number of bags of candy!

THANK YOU to everyone who has sent candy already!! It is very much appreciated!

Concession Stand Help!

CONCESSION STAND HELP

We need help with filling our concession stand with volunteers on our assigned nights! This is a big fundraiser for us and we cannot run it without volunteers!

We still need volunteers for the following dates and times

10/21 - 4:30pm-6:30pm, 6:30pm-8:30pm
10/28 - 6:30pm-8:30pm

Private Lessons

Lessons play a vital role in the individual students success in band! Lesson are for the students who might be a little behind, and even for those who are excelling and would like an added enriching challenge.

To enroll in lessons please send Ms. Hoffman an email at 'hoffmans@friscoisd.org' expressing your interest. Please also include your student's name and instrument.
