Hello Fall!

Dear Families,

Welcome to October! Fall is officially in the air, and our school community is buzzing with energy as our youngest learners settle into the rhythms of the new school year.

The beginning of the school year is always a special season marked by growth and new beginnings. Over the past few weeks, it has been a joy to watch our students build new friendships, adapt to classroom routines, and embrace new challenges with curiosity and big smiles. Every day in our halls brings exciting "firsts"β€”from mastering new letters and numbers to discovering a passion for art, reading, or science.

Back to School Night was a huge success! So happy to see so many of you attend. It is a great night to meet the teachers of your child(ren). The partnership between home and school is vital for the success of our students. If you have questions regarding the classroom, routines, academic / behavioral expectations, or even upcoming events… reach out to your child’s teacher. Communication is key to everyone's success!

Growth in early elementary school happens in leaps and bounds, both academically and socially. We are so proud of the resilience and enthusiasm our students have shown so far. As we move further into autumn, we remain dedicated to creating a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels confident to explore, learn, and grow at their own pace.

Thank you for your partnership, encouragement, and support from home. Together, we are laying a wonderful foundation for a bright year ahead!

Warmly,

Mrs. Donohue

We love to be outside! Whenever possible, weather depending, we will go outside during our scheduled times. Please make sure your student is dressed accordingly. We strongly encourage sneakers that are tied or have velcro. Crocs (even in sport mode) can come off easily and cause an injury. Students wearing shoes other than sneakers will not be able to play on the structures so please keep a pair of sneakers in your child's locker.

Our swings area and the small playground have rubber mulch. Please talk to your children about not picking up the mulch, throwing the mulch, or putting it into their pockets to bring home. :-)
