Sky Ranch Health Forms Sky Ranch Health Forms

5th grade Sky Ranch health forms are due to Nurse Garmon Wednesday, October 14th.

Hearing & Vision Screening- October 15th Hearing & Vision Screening- October 15th

On October 15, all state mandated grades will have their vision and hearing checked, as well as a quick visual check of their necks for the acanthosis nigricans marker (a possible indicator of prediabetes/Type 2 diabetes) by our PISD certified screeners. These students will include all kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade students, as well as all new to Prosper ISD students. If you have any appointments to attend, please try to schedule them for after school on this date.

Here are some tips to prepare your student for screening:

If your student wears glasses or contact lenses, please make sure they are wearing them for the day of screening.

Please have your student refrain from wearing earrings on this day, as the headphones used for hearing screenings can press against earrings and may cause discomfort.

Back to School Transportation Information Back to School Transportation Information

To enhance student safety and accountability, all Prosper ISD bus riders in grades PK–12 will be required to have and use a Bus Rider ID Badge for transportation services.

Each badge contains RFID technology that helps us:

  • Confirm students are boarding the correct bus.

  • Improve rider accountability.

  • Assist with student location verification during transportation operations.

  • Support campus and parent inquiries.

  • Enhance emergency response capabilities.

  • Improve overall student safety.

What Parents Need to Know

  • Students should bring their Bus Rider ID Badge to school each day.

  • Students will scan their badge when boarding and exiting the bus.

  • If a badge is lost or damaged, please notify your campus as soon as possible.

  • Additional information regarding replacement badges will be shared by the campus.

The Bus Rider ID Badge program is designed to provide an added layer of safety and accountability while helping us better serve students and families.

If a student has already received a badge and loses or damages it, the replacement cost is $5, payable through Skyward Fee Management as an Optional Fee. Click here to learn how to pay using Skyward.
