Report Cards Available on March 18

We’re excited to share that report cards will be available for families to view beginning March 18!

We encourage families to take a few minutes to log in, review your student’s progress, and celebrate their hard work this marking period.

Recess Reminders

As temperatures begin to warm up, our playground can get a bit muddy—so boots can make recess much more fun and comfortable! When the “feels like” temperature is below 50°F, students are required to wear a jacket outside. We also encourage students to keep an extra set of clothes in their backpack just in case of any unexpected muddy moments.

Please remember to label jackets and other layers, as our lost and found is starting to fill up. Thanks for helping keep students comfortable and ready to enjoy their time outdoors!

March Is Reading Month

Ahoy, readers! March Is Reading Month is underway. Huge thanks to Ms. Groth for charting the course and sharing our 2026 activities. Our schoolwide theme is “Treasure awaits between the pages!”—and we are celebrating with daily reading adventures all month long. Teachers will highlight each day’s activities in class and in their weekly newsletters, so families can join the fun at home. Grab a book, set sail, and let’s discover the riches of reading together!

Mulitcultural Night at Hoben

Join us for our first Multicultural Night on Wednesday, April 15th from 5:30-7:00 pm! We invite all Hoben families to share and celebrate their cultures, identities, and traditions—beyond country of origin—to build a strong sense of belonging.

School Schedule

8:40 a.m. - Students participating in the breakfast program may report to the cafeteria*
8:40 a.m. - Students may arrive on campus, and outdoor supervision starts*
8:50 a.m. - First bell rings, students enter the building
8:55 a.m. - Second bell rings, teachers close outside doors, and class begins**
4:01 p.m. - Dismissal
12:10 p.m. - Half-Day Dismissal
*To keep our Hoben Hornets safe, no student should be dropped off for school before 8:40 a.m. At this time, staff members are on school grounds monitoring students.

**Any student who arrives after 8:55 a.m. MUST be accompanied inside the building and signed in by an adult.
