Hello,

This year, The Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen’s University is offering a brand-new summer camp: MiniQ!

MiniQ is a summer day camp program for children aged 5-12, located on Queen’s campus. MiniQ Campers explore, create, and learn about the world around them through games, projects and activities in a safe, welcoming environment through hands-on Arts and Science activities. At the end of each week, the camp culminates with a Graduation Showcase. Campers (aged 5-6) will explore the world through a variety of Arts, Science, and outdoor activities each week. Campers (aged 7-12) will engage in a variety of arts and science activities each morning. Campers will select a 'Major' in Arts, Science or Outdoors that they will explore during our afternoon sessions. Find out more information (including a sample schedule and weekly themes) on our website.

We are offering an Early Bird Discount from March 3rd - March 31st. Register HERE!

Before & After care is available for an additional fee. You can sign up for Before & After Care during registration.

If you have questions, email us at MINIQ@queensu.ca and don't forget to follow us on Instagram (@miniqcamp).

Thanks,

Why Use the SchoolMessenger App?

When you join SchoolMessenger, you will be able to:

  • receive imporant information from LDSB
  • join classrooms and extra-curricular groups
  • report a student's absence (same day and in advance)

Reporting A Student's Absence:

The new student absence reporting system will let you use a mobile app, a website, or an interactive toll-free phone number to report an absence in advance. These options are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Future absences can be reported at any time.

If your student is marked absent and the absence hasn’t been reported in advance, our new SafeArrival system will attempt to reach the student’s priority contact by telephone to confirm the absence. If our system is unable to reach the designated contacts, school office staff will follow up.
